Have you ever tried to sell someone something without knowing them and what they needed and wanted? What did you get??? What you got was Rejection, Indifference, Skepticism, Procrastination or Fear, or all of them, thus, and no sale. That is why a online sales conversion rate of 5% is considered high. For all of the content created misses the mark if you do not know how what the attitudes are that a prospect goes through during the course of making a buying decision AND if you do not know “How to” overcome these attitudes.

Let me ask the following questions to give you a glimpse of the 7 Keys for Success in any sale, whether it is direct sales, Internet sale, online sales, network marketing, or more subtle sales on Face Book, My Space, or You Tube or other social media sites. 1.  Do you know what the prospective prospects Primary Interest is and what their Dominate Buying Motive is?

In other words, what they want and why theywant it. There are a number of ways to ascertain this information on the Internet.

2. Have you gained enough Favorable Attention  to have the prospect think about you enough to not throw you out and Reject you without even listening to you?

Typically, you have seconds to gain favorable attention. Do you know the 10 ways of gaining favorable attention in any media venue?

3. Have you gained enough pre-sale information in your Prospecting to know the   prospect can even benefit from your products and services?

Most internet Guru’s skip this step, they seem to not care if someone can benefit, they just want them to sign up. If you care enough to ask, you can gain a  customer for life.

4. Do you have enough Product Knowledge of your own product/service and those of your top competitors and the Specialized Knowledge needed to Convince the prospect that your Product or Service is Good, it will do what you say it will, that other people say so – besides yourself and it is worth the time, money and energy for them to invest in it? Whether in person, on a video, or in content, your expert specialized knowledge HAS TO come forth.

5. Did you gain enough information from the prospect to Create Desire  in having the product by painting a word picture of them using it and benefiting from it? Again, whether in written or spoken content this has to be there.

6. Do you know how to test to see if the prospect is inthe psychological moment to buy, by using Trial Closes throughout your presentation. You need to give the prospect ample space to make the decision when he or she is ready and know your self when that moment is, you can feel it, if trained.

7. If the client is Fearful of Buying, do you know how to Close Effectively?

Typically these is a non-emotional business decision close, showing the Reasons for going ahead verse the ideas against moving forward.

The answers to these questions will tell you if you know the 7 Keys for Sales Success. If you are missing ANY of the Keys, the closing is unlikely, even if you have a squeeze page, a funnel, free content, video, a lead capture page, and a tremendous value proposition.

Exercise One week

Observe Your Thoughts to Control Your Thoughts

One exercise you can do now to control your thoughts is to take time to consciously relax your body and take deep, rhythmic breaths to slow your mind, and just watch your thoughts, like clouds in the sky. Remember when you were a kid and you watched clouds? Do that with your thoughts. Write me after one week, and I will give you the second part of this exercise. It may seem silly, yet it is important. There is a celebrity you all know that did this with amazing results. Do it and see for yourself. To remind yourself, take 20 sticky notes, write “Watch Thoughts” on them and put them up in your home, in your car, and at the office. You will be amazed at the result, I promise. Once you control your thoughts, we can work on creating more Power in them.

            Another thing you can start doing is to look back at your life and thank everyone and every situation that happened. Without any one of those “things” happening, no matter how hard or how bad, you would not be reading this right now and you would not Be coming into this God Consciousness. See each experience, and the people in them, as a blessing and know that since God is Omnipresent, God is and was emanating within whoever helped you to get to the Here and Now. In thanking and loving them, you are loving God. That is why Jesus said, “Love thy enemies,” “treat others as you would be treated,” and “that which you do to the least of your brothers, you do until me”—unto God, for God is emanating though everyone and everything. Realize, since you created these “things” to happen to get you to the “Here and Now,” you create it anyway? So be thankful to All.

There are specific ways to increase your “knowingness,” specific ways to let go of your past beliefs and hurts, which block your empowerment, for good. There is specific training to develop not only your basic business skills, but also your latent, dormant God-conscious abilities. As humans, we are all bound by the Laws of Creation, and other Universal Laws, including the Laws of Success. So, let’s work on the specific ways to gain control over all aspects of our lives—willful control over our thoughts, words, and deeds. Let’s look at the Law that trumps the Law of Attraction, and the Law of Karma.
